I inspire & support people to have Wellness, Balance & Energy so they can smash their goals with confidence.
Hi, my name is Charlotte Walsh and I have just started my business called Wellness Balance Energy!
The sorts of things that I work on with my clients is, Success with resolution, Life balance, Food Choices, Non Diet approach to wellness, Confidence & Freedom, Light Bulb Moments, Being active at any level and much more.
Have you ever wondered what creates the gap between what people say they want and what they actually do? As a Wellness Coach I can help close this gap.
By combining the theory from Coaching Psychology, Behaviour Change and Positive Psychology, I help clients overcome resistance to change by using a step by step, structured approach.
Making a shift away from a “Do what I say” stance, I support clients in working out what they want, why they want it, what’s stopping them and then together we create a plan for action.
Through this supportive relationship, I empower my clients with a focus on facilitation, rather than prescription, meaning I facilitate the client to come up with their own solutions. and they take responsibility for their changes and help them feel more confident when they experience small successes and ultimately the client achieves more significant change, than they would on their own.
This approach results in “greater motivation, greater self-worth and greater outcomes for my clients”.
Before a coaching session, clients have limiting beliefs of what they can achieve. It is my job to change those limiting beliefs to the belief that they can achieve anything they put their mind to.
Together we write realistic vision statements so that the client visually can see their potential. This is the foundation for what is to come, it is realistic and it comes with a timeframe.
Have you ever felt like there is a big brick wall up in front of you? That takes a lot of braking down before you can see a way forward. My job is to work through the barriers (brick wall) with my clients and find a way forward.
When this happens, people tend to do anything in their power to sabotage what they really want to achieve, then give up and feel a sense of failure or guilt.
As a coach it is my job to enable the clients to come up with their own solutions.
When a client comes up with their own solutions in my experience they are more likely to stick with pushing forward with their goals.
If the goals are too big or complicated or too hard, the client will not be able to stick with it. Then that feeling of failure or guilt sneaks in again which is worse than not doing anything in the first place. I work with the client to achieve small achievable goals to get to the end result.
I am always on my client’s side when it comes to setting goals. I watch the clients body language and listen to what they are saying to make sure that the goals we are setting fit with their values and also if they are in the right phase of change to achieve the goals.
At the start of any follow up session, we talk about what has worked for them since the last session, go over what the goals were from the previous session and look at any barriers that came up for the them and work through the barriers (Brick Wall) together.
If you are feeling stuck in your life and wanting to move forward and change some habits but don’t have the resources to do so. Please reach out to me as I would love to support you in your journey to wellness.
