Come join us on a walking track we have not done before.
Afternoon walk and pot luck (snacks) dinner or bring your portable BBQ, at the river, after the walk.
If you have a fishing license bring you fishing gear for an evening fish below the gorge bridge. Danny will be bringing his Mountain Bike for a ride after the walk you are welcome to do the same!
Leave 37 Edmond St at 1pm or meet at the car park at Rakaia Gorge at 2.00pm.

Our goal is to do some shorter walks normally the week before our bigger walks that happen during the year, these are desig
ned for the beginners so no excuses!!
Bring: Bring plenty of water, snacks, and layers of clothing as it can be cool under the canopy.
TRANSPORTATION
What we normally do as we meet at James and Danny Place in the City and have a coffee and a bit of a natter then we organise the cars, both James and I can take about 10 people between us! It is a good idea to text Danny telling him you will need transport ()
COST
If you could just give your driver $10 dollars (per person) this is for the return ride and helps keep it affordable for all.
So you can start coming from 12:30pm as that is when the coffee machine is on!
We will need to get away no later than 1:00 pm
