My name is Sue Dickson, I am a new member of Elite6 and my business is Turning the Tide Counselling. Today I want to talk to you about a book I am writing about Inner Peace.

Often people only think about what inner peace means to them towards the end of their life. However, by writing about what Inner Peace means to different people, I hope to encourage others to look in to their hearts and inspire them to find Inner Peace earlier in life.

What Does Inner Peace Mean To You?

Inner Peace to me is letting go of the past. It is forgiving myself and others, and loving and accepting myself for who I am. It is knowing that I have a purpose in life and that I am on the right path. Everything happens for a reason and even though I may not have seen it at the time, it all lead up to this purpose. When I look back, I see that everything has fallen into place.

I believe that my purpose is to help others. Everyone on this earth should be treated as they would like to be treated; with compassion and love. I have love and gratitude for many wonderful things in my life, my children, my family and my friends. I know that I am loved. I have faith, I believe in God, I believe in Angels and I believe in Spirit Guides.

All of these things bring me Inner Peace. I am not afraid to die. I know that when the time comes, I will be fine because I have done everything in my power to help others and be the best person I can be.

There is no right or wrong answer, each person is unique. If you would like to send me your thoughts on Inner Peace, yours thoughts will be treasured and valued. If possible, please put your name and age, and whether you give me permission to put your beautiful thoughts into my book.

I leave with you this quote from Mother Teresa. It inspires me and I hope it inspires you.

“May today there be peace within,
May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that you are born of faith in yourself and others.
May you use the gifts you have received, and pass on the love that’s been given to you.
May you be content with yourself just the way you are.
Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us”.

Kind Regards,

Sue Dickson
