Originally from the sunny Hawkes Bay I have been based in Christchurch for the last 20 years.

My background is in Nursing and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1988. Since then I happily worked in a wide variety of clinical settings both acute and rehabilitation. Over the years I realised that sickness wasn’t just the “presence of disease” – sometimes it just manifested without any apparent explanation. Vague symptoms unidentified by medicine, chronic illness patterns that were unexplained and frustrating to its owner!
