Imagine Stress Being the Same as a Fall
As children, we have no fear. We fall over and think nothing of it, the hurt is brushed away like the dirt and grit from a graze on our knee. As we get older, we don’t ‘bounce’ the same.

I don’t know if you remember the song ‘The Only Way is Up’ by Yazz from 1988, but those words have resonated with me and some of my family for various reasons.
Recently I had the privilege of doing a three day course with Brian Anderson, who is a Dale Carnegie Trainer. Myself and fifteen like-minded people completed the "Skills for Success" programme. This was truly an amazing experience!
One of the most important things for business owners to consider is whether they have the right business structure and whether that business structure needs to change as the business grows and evolves.
We sometimes recognise others are stressed and then don’t recognise this in ourselves. Whether you feel stressed or not, prevention is just as important.
We can talk about positive thinking and positive self-talk until the cows come home but the reality is, for most, it appears easier said than done.
I was reminded of this when I had a tooth infection resulting in one of the worst pains anyone can experience - toothache! For those of you who have experienced this you will know what I’m talking about.
It's sexy - when done well. It builds emotional connections with the humans in the market - over time. We aspire to the products or emotions the images and sounds invoke in us. With the best will in the world sometimes it just happens! Our confidence disappears - the tears start - that wonderful positive vibe that gave us that proverbial ‘spring in our step’ just lost its spring!
The standard response when you’re thinking about selling your home but are not sure when, is “sell in spring”. And there’s plenty of truth in that as warmer, drier weather and post-winter itchy feet drive potential buyers out to open homes.
The general meaning of Self-empowerment is taking control of our own life, setting goals, and making positive choices. It can also mean our ability to overcome our sense of powerlessness and lack of influence and to recognise and use our resources.
Still wondering if you can build your dream home, warm and strong, within budget? Here’s proof you can.
I’ve often wondered about what came first - the chicken or the egg! But I’m not talking about chickens or eggs but confidence and empowerment!
I have just been to one of my meetings and I was watching a visitor who had come along to Elite6 for the 1st time and it inspired me to write this blog!
